Omorfi salon — Local services in Municipality of Al Shamal

The Salon has a nice Greek inspired style and looks clean. The receptionist was friendly. I had a quick mani and French colour and I showed the technician a photo of what I wanted. Honestly, I didn’t like the end result. When technician was shaping my nails, they were not even so I told her to fix it. When she painted them, the French tips were different sizes and again not even at the two ends of the nails. I told her and she said it was because I asked her to make it shorter and she didn’t want to make them shorter because she is a nail technician and she knows. she explained that they were not even as the whites of my nails were different sizes and tried to explain what French tips were to me. I clarified to her that I never told her to make my nails shorter but instead I asked her to make sure the nail tip were even and that I knew what French tips were. I don’t like it when someone puts the blame onto you and so I didn’t say anything after that and left once she finished. Also while she was doing my nails, she pushed her thumb out of her gloves and used her own nail to remove something from my nail which I found unhygienic! She said not to touch my nails for 5 mins so I didn’t touch anything on my way home which is 15 mins long but thumb nails smudged still. I’m not happy with my nails ☹️ I have included the photo I showed her and the results I got.

Update: I went back to the salon and they kindly redid my nail polish...

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at the salon . I booked a scalp treatment, but my experience was a nightmare.

Instead of cleaning my scalp, my hair became severely tangled. When I brought this to the attention of the person providing the service, they were dismissive and claimed this was normal. This was unacceptable, especially as the tangles worsened.

The receptionist was also unhelpful and treated me with indifference. There was no attempt to resolve the issue.

Only when I insisted on escalating the matter and threatened to take further action did they contact the manager. Finally, a staff member attempted to detangle my hair, but this resulted in significant hair loss due to the initial mishandling and lack of expert consultation.

I did not receive an apology or compensation for the damage. The receptionist's poor attitude further compounded my frustration.

However, after this issue I asked to continue my services they said no more service out! We are closed I request a full investigation into this matter and appropriate action to prevent similar incidents from happening to other customers.

The salon’s name speaks for itself. It means beautiful in Greek language. The interior was designed like you’re one of the places in Greece. On my second time it was remodeled though. Albeit, it’s still a beautiful salon with efficient staff. It is very cozy and tidy. However, there’s one thing I could complain about. On both occasions I was in the salon, I was looking for a specific gel nail colour and it wasn’t available. Although it wasn’t a disappoint at all but I want to suggest that there should be a variety of options (gel nail polish to be exact) to choose from knowing that it seems like a posh salon (pricewise).
