SAMOCA Saudi Arabia Museum of Contemporary Art — Local services in Riyadh Region

Came here around 1:30 pm on April 22nd to beat the heat and I’m glad I chose this gallery~

The staff were super helpful and one of the women took the time to explain each piece in the Adaptability Ceramics Exhibition, which I really appreciated. I loved how interactive this exhibit was and how diverse the pieces were.

Next, I went to the Art of the Kingdom - Poetic Illuminations exhibit. This exhibit had a variety of mediums on display covering a range of themes. You can watch grains of sand fall in real time, play a video game set in Jeddah, or check out cool aerial shots of landscapes in Medina.

The gallery also has a gift shop with some fun items to commemorate your visit (I got a nice little keychain).

There’s also have a cafe onsite with delicious Spanish lattes, the perfect way to wrap up your visit here.

ما ادري من وين ابدا ومن وين انتهي .. بالبداية المعرض الصيني المعاصر كان جميل ومختلف بجميع الاعمال اللي تم عرضها بطبيعة الحال اختلاف الحضارة ولكن بالمعرض هذا يعرض وجه التشابه ما بين الحضارتين هذا اولا .. ثانيا تجربتي تجاه المعرض كانت شاعرية وسريالية بطابع اخر .. ثالثا واخر شي حاب اشكر التنظيم الخيالي واللي قاعدين يقدمون جهود عظيمة وحاب اشكر من اعماق قلبي الاخ (عمر جمال) انسان راقي ومثقف وفاهم جميع القطع اخذني يشرح يعجز اللسان عن وصفة شكرا على شرحك اللي اعطاني عمق فلسفي ومفهوم اعمق لكل الاعمال وحابب اشكر الاخ (عبدالله الموسى) على كل الجهود وعلى التعامل الراقي والابتسامات اللي ما...
