I’ve been wanting to visit a place in the desserts with a river in the middle.
Alas! Here’s wadi al disah located in tabuk, ksa.
The nature would never ever disappoint you.
The thrill of the trail that will make your heart pumps faster, the jeep/pick up rides that good people will happily offer you fills your heart, the joy of the campers who would gratefully shares their food and coffee as you pass by, the feel of the sand to your feet that tickles your excitement and the coldness of the water that refreshes your soul and the marvelous rock formation that’s surrounds the whole area that would fill your soul and imagination with only but the goodness of the Creator!
You’re eyes will really really pop-out! You’re heart will pumped a lot of endorphins and dopamine that will make your whole being feel all the feelings you’ve forgotten.
Your feet will get dirty, your clothes will be wet, your hair will be messy but it’s all worth it!
Believe you me, you won’t stop walking and walking until you can’t feel your feet but that’s all about it! It’s super fun!
Go get lost in Al disah. You only live once, visit a paradise in the middle of...
Read moreStunning Canyons and beautiful mountain valleys.
Mountains with natural groundwater flowing downstream.
Hope Saudi Tourism Ministry develops this breathtaking area with Amenities and better Infrastructure for tourists.
The 100 km long road inwards from the main highway doesnt disappoint but Preplanning is must as You should leave the valley before Sunset due to unavailability of any Hotels or Restaurants nearby which causes major inconvenience for Families.
The narrow 100 km long single-lane highway requires your undivided attention whilst driving carefully especially after Sunset. Daytime Driving is preferable as there is almost no settlements nearby or proper lighting on the roads which makes it considerably albeit not very challenging to drive in the dark.
4x4 Cars are a requirement not a preference if you ever plan to use your own vehicle. Otherwise Local Safari Jeeps are available for 300sr operated by experienced and polite local drivers.
Hope this review helps you and you have a great experience enjoying the scenery in this picturesque valley of...
Read moreWe learned about Wadi Disah from a Youtuber and we targeted it as travel destination. It is definitely worth a visit even if it takes a longer trip and some effort to reach it. The wadi is stunnigly beautiful with spectacular mountains and green, lavish vegetations. There are tour operators at the entrance that provide 1 hour tours with 4WD vehicles. There is a nearby village Al Disah where you can find simple accommodations or camps sites, though it requires a bit of exploration and searching to find them. There are a few small stores and a petrol station. 30 minutes away is Ashwaq where you can find restaurants, coffee shop, ATM, barber shop, etc. If you like nature and landscapes and are a bit adventurous, this is a place you must vist. We started in Tabuk and left Disah to Duba (nice costal town) at...
