Dopo aver attraversato la desolata ma affascinante savana del Senegal centrale e la zona delle miniere d'oro (sconsiglio quest'ultima zona) l'arrivo nella regione dei Paesi Bassari è stata una piacevole e... programmata sorpresa. Il verde della foresta è affascinate e il bagno nel fiume Gambia è stato memorabile... . Mi riprometto di tornare al più presto per dedicare più tempo a questa area, andando a visitare anche i villaggi delle altre etnie della zona.
