Jelica is a mountain in central Serbia, near the town of Čačak. It’s highest peak, Crna Stena, has an elevation of 929 meters above sea level. Nature is beautiful. The last day of October 2021 was sunny and warm, ideal for hiking. The trails are not the best marked, there are no trail markings in many places, so you can easily get lost. There are many new roads that are probably used to exploit the forest. The view from the Crna Stena is fantastic. Mushroom suncanica is possible to find. Very low signal for mobile phone or there is not signal at all. At the foothill of the mountain you can stop at the Stjenik monastery.
