I purchased kimchi from this store on 22nd July 2025, which was being promoted as Buy One Get One Free for $12 (regular price $9 each). Later that night, I ate some and immediately noticed it tasted off. Not long after, I developed diarrhea and felt very sick.
Today, I checked the packaging and realized the kimchi had expired on the exact day I bought it – 22nd July. This is completely unacceptable. These weren’t single-serving items like sushi – they were large jars of kimchi, which are typically meant to last for a months when stored properly.
What’s worse, there was no written notice or verbal warning from the staff about the expiry date. Selling expired food without any disclosure is highly unethical and dangerous to public health.
I will be reporting this incident to the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) and will never shop at this mart again. I strongly advise others not to purchase...

Me and my friend was trying to find the Newjeans peperon in the shop, and the shop owner suddely came to us out of no where and said: "go outside".
I don't know what's wrong with the shop owner, but I feel very angry about the way I treated us. We were just finding something we wanted to buy, we didn't do any iligal thing, and we didn't say anything bad about the shop and the shop owner himself. I still can't forgive the way he treated us. I didn't ask for good customer service, but forcing customers to get out from the shop out of no where like this is too much.
