China therapist named Amber was in bad mood or something. Showed disinterest and attitude from the start. When i requested for additional towel as the room was freezing cold, she was reluctant and asked incredulously in Chinese "You feeling cold??" and proceeded to sashay slowly to fetch the extra towel from the cabinet. Halfway through the massage, she decided to discard the extra towel and i had to request for it again. And same incredulous question 🤔.
Her technique wasn't bad at first but she was all over the place instead of working her way top down or vice versa. And then the strangest thing happened. She snapped and demanded me to "fang song" ie relax my body - as though i am making her work very difficult for her! I would not have minded if she tells me politely. But the truth is- i didn't feel i was tensed up. Perhaps my body was just stiff having cremated my sister a few days ago and standing for hours during the funeral wake.
My husband and i thought we try this place for the first time as it is nearer instead of going to our usual spa. I thought it might be promising with all the awards they put up at the reception. The rooms and facilities were nice and clean so i gave it a 1 star. But I ended up my session of 75 minutes with a bad pain on my left leg and i struggled to walk down the stairs after that. She had used her elbow to knead my lower legs - first time i had experienced such a technique ever in all my years of weekly massages. It was so painful that i had to stop her from continuing on my leg.
My hubby had a better therapist but also noticed she was either very unhappy with her work or simply hostile. She only smiled after my husband gave her a small tip. Mine just disappeared after the session although she asked me if I would like a drink. Maybe they are just tired...
Read moreThe '2 hour' time was a stretch, we had a bath with three people and most of the time was sitting in there waiting for 10 or more minutes for her to return. The lady who massaged me very clearly didn't know what she was doing- could be described better as gentle stroking or rub down. The room was freezing cold with me laying on a bed without a head hole, soaking wet from the bath, wet towels draped over top adding to the chill. The 'massage' only went for about half an hour then she disappeared with no word and proceeded to gossip with her three colleagues in the same room, me wondering what on earth was going on. This was later dubbed as 'relaxation time' this went for around 20 minutes. This would have all been fine if it were priced accordingly but it was priced the same as an expensive place without the appropriate service. Would negotiate price before starting if you were to ever go here. Hate to leave such a bad review but was really disappointed and didn't feel it was worth the...
Read moreI visited Le Spa and met pretty therapist CoCo and so glad that I found her. She is the best massage therapist I had ever meet. Her massage technique felt totally professional. The best is her strength is just right and massage was on point, especially if you understand Meridian points, she pressed on the correct areas. I was comfortable at all times, my body felt better for it. She is very customer-oriented, and clearly cares for the experience her customers have. She always put a sweet smile on the face and you won't find a dull moment when you are with her. I would highly recommend her it if you are looking for professional massage in a relax and...
