Engaged Musical Touch as my wife and I wanted to have a better guest experience at our wedding. Was not disappointed, and was very thankful we engaged them! Here's 5 things I was really impressed with, 1 for each star. We engaged a 5 piece band.

Professionalism -- Conversation with Alvin (the boss) was smooth and reassuring. He has the skills and an ear to really advise us for the kind of wedding we wanted, and recommended singers for us + the musical instruments to achieve the desired feel! Respect his professionalism and his talent!

Flexible -- We wanted our childhood montage to link into our march-in song, "Rewrite the Stars" played by them. The band rehearsed to make it seamless, and even offered advice on how they could do it better than what I had intended. The march-in turned out spectacular!

Effect -- Sherman and Felicia sang together beautifully! They were in sync and managed to engage the audience despite hiccups on my part (tired groom messed up). Along with songs in English, Mandarin, Cantonese. They were simply awesome, but they didn't overshadow the main couple, and really amped up the feels and vibe in the room. They even moderated the dedications so that only appropriate songs were played for mood! Special cheers to Felicia who played the emcee role beautifully as well!

Effort -- I had a very niche song that I wanted them to play (my proposal song), and the band + singers rehearsed and remodeled the song to fit the occasion and mood. I was so happy that they could do that for me, and I am very grateful for it.

Customer Centric -- Eva was very patient and effective in helping me find songs when we couldn't decide on the playlist or the march in, and at the end of the wedding, they even gave me the whole list of dedication cards that the guests had filled up so we could see more well-wishes dedicated on the night (of which was a blur, too much drinking maybe). I felt touched by the whole experience of how they really wanted to give their best for our special day.

TL;DR: Musical Touch was 100% professional, 200% value, and 300% effect. My cousin even asked me the contact for his upcoming wedding. No regrets, the investment was well spent. Do hire them for your wedding if you want your guests to have a good time, and for you to have a memorable wedding.

Therese and I engaged with Musical Touch to perform at our wedding on 9 Jan 2021. However because of Covid-19, they performed live but virtually at a separate studio with the audio and video of the band transmitted through zoom to the wedding venue. TLDR (too long didn’t read), we think that Musical Touch was exemplary and are glad we engaged them even though the playing was done live virtually over zoom.

Long review: With regards to the professionalism of Alvin and his team at Musical Touch, I would say that they were excellent. Alvin personally zoomed us and explained to us their various packages very clearly. Furthermore, the pricing for each component of their services were stated clearly from the start and fully transparent. We are also pleased that Alvin also personally called after the wedding to review the band’s performance which we think is small little thing to showcase their commitment to improving their service standards.

We asked for for a 4 piece band, with our main singers being Jie Ping and Benjamin Hum.

On the actual day itself, guests commented that the virtual live band over zoom was good as a whole. It is truly a pity that they could not be there in person to perform because the atmosphere would have been even more amazing. But regardless, it was nearly as good over zoom and our guests said that they really enjoyed the wedding because of the band. We think that the band in general is hugely talented and are fortunate to have them for our wedding. Guests were very happy to be able to dedicate songs to play for us, there were so many dedications that the band could not even finish playing all of the songs! We only wished that perhaps the band could have known a little more oldies songs because feedback from the older guests from our wedding was that the band did not know how to play most of their songs. Had our wedding lunch on 12 Oct and must say that I am very impressed with Yutong who was our singer + emcee for the event. The entire wedding including the zoom meetups with her were very smooth and Yutong was experienced enough to give us guidance on programme flow and how to fit things in so that things made sense.

She was also very accommodating to us. We initially wanted to sing parts of the march-in songs but I fell sick with sore throat 2 days before the wedding. So we had to change the plans to do a short dance instead and had to also change the march-in song to something more pop since our initial choice of the 2nd march-in song was very slow. She did not inform us that she was not able to do it but instead agreed on the change but informed us that because it was with a piano accompaniment the song effect wont be exactly the same. We honestly were just thankful enough that she agreed. In the end, the 2nd March-in went well even with the change in song. Need to also comment that Yutong and her team that day ran the show themselves with little guidance which was good for us because we had no time to tell them what to do. Very experienced, they did the sound check etc on their own as I could not be there because I was busy in the hotel room getting ready.

I went back to work the next week and had many colleagues asking what her rate was like and also commenting that she was very good and kept them entertained (I was not there most of the time as I had to change etc. so I had checked in with them on how the lunch was for them). Some of our friends, who were also getting married soon, also checked in with us on the company and how we managed to find Yutong. Needless to say, I have recommended Musical Touch and Yutong to them. To whoever that is reading this review, i would also like to highly recommend them!
