Scent Discovery Massage Spa — Local services in Singapore

We went there because that we saw a 5 star rating on Google suggestions. However, we were very disappointed. It was so disappointing that we have to call for an end after just 30min. The masseur takes two calls each last more than 1min in the first 20min. During the rest of this first 20min, she was using a dry and hard bath towel (quite old, too) on my back for massage rather than using any massage oil, I started to feel pain in skin and asked her “are you going to use any oil (btw, to add Essential oil, there is $10 more that you need to pay)?” She then said “yes, now”. This is almost 15min later than the other masseur. Once the oil is applied, she starts to use her nail together with her fingers which scratched me three times. I called her to stop and be mindful for twice and asked to reduce my 90min session to 60min. Followed that, her way of twisting my shoulder made me extremely uncomfortable, and not taking long, another nail scratching on my back. To prevent from any more hurt, I called for an end to that massage and paid for that 30min. The other masseur was trying to declare a 45min, while I have signed time-in states only 30min has passed (including the changing time, etc.). Well, we will never get back there ever again. I was recommended by a friend to Scent Discovery Massage Spa because the standard of massage is good. I was recommended to Alice, one of the spa therapists. I woke up this morning with sore shoulders and decided to visit the spa in the afternoon. I called and made an appointment with Alice. Upon my arrival at the spa, Alice was at the counter to welcome me. The spa was quite spacious, with a few massage rooms. The spa was clean and tidy. She showed me to one of the rooms with an attached bathroom. I took a bath before the massage. The massage room was spacious, and the bed was big enough and comfortable. Alice was skilled and had enough strength to press on my back. She constantly checked with me about her strength and intensity. She was not only careful but also took her massage seriously. Actually, a very nice spa with better prices and reliable service. I get my waxing done (they do both women and men) there which is half the price of my last spa and then I follow that up with a $75 hour long massage. I believe it is an all woman staff but they are very skilled and professional. They seem to always be adding additional treatments and services to their menu.
