Great Service at Sheng Siong @ Margrate Drive.

It has been a long time since I received great service at any supermarket in Singapore. However, I was pleasantly surprised during my visit to the Sheng Siong supermarket in Margaret Drive today. I was looking for a specific type of coffee but it was sold out. As a customer, I approached one of the staff members and asked when the item would be restocked. To my surprise, Ms. Lau Boon Siew went above and beyond to find out when the item would be arriving and even offered to notify me once the order arrived.

I was truly amazed by Ms. Lau Boon Siew's exceptional service. In the past, I have encountered staff who would simply reply "no have no have" or "don't know" when faced with a similar situation. Ms. Lau Boon Siew should serve as an example to others in the service industry. It is disappointing to see that many people in this industry are often rude or show little care for their customers.

i went to sheng siong just to claim the 3 for $3 oatside oat milk promotion. what baffled me was that they only had the coffee oat milk in stock and yet the outlet is so big. they fail to restock their items lack of variety, they have a lot of one same flavour/item and other flavours of things are not sold out. there is no sushi yet their store is so big. they sell loads of unhealthy drinks as well, starting from green teas to fruit teas loaded with sugar. as well as stacks of instant noodles with different brands stacked on shelves. they lack variety in ice cream as well, only to sell big tubs of ben and jerry's ice cream, not so well known stick ice creams and no individual ice creams! the cashiers were not very friendly as well. they have a large range of fish and prawn seafood but it was farmed and not fresh. only pro here is it is...

Have always enjoyed doing marketing at Sheng Siong due to the competitive pricing and friendly and helpful staff. Was a bit turned off today though at this Maragaret Drive outlet. The gentleman manning the fresh fish area was cutting his nails at the area, with the nails clipping away and dropping all around his work area. Usually our fish fillet will be packed individually into bags but this time round, it was just all placed into a few bags which we have to separately...
