Yishun Sport Hall — Local services in Singapore

UPDATE: I have finally received a response. However, I still think the academy could do better in reaching out to parents for better communication.

My child is a youth member of the ActiveSG football academy at Yishun stadium. He has shown up for training over the past two days but his coach and group were nowhere to be found. I have tried calling the stadium and no one has bothered to return my call nor inform me of activities that are currently happening. The football academy has the parents’ contact details and yet no one makes an effort to reach out and update them on what’s happening with this. I have called and left a message but no one has bothered to respond. I paid for this term but my child has missed 2 days of training just because no one has made a little effort in informing us about training updates. Your customer service is just dismal - simply uncontactable and nonchalant about reaching out to parents...

The nearest MRT to Yishun Sport Hall is Khatib mrt station. You can take bus and alight after 1 stop from opposite Khatib mrt or walk 10 minutes to here. There are 4 badminton courts, which are usually full during weekday evening, 10 table tennis table which you can book thru Activesg. Vending machine (drinks are abit expensive) and water cooler can be found near the entrance of the sport hall. Gym is location inside the sport hall building and Yishun stadium is just beside the sport hall for people to jog and exercise. Overall, a great place to meetup with your family and friend to...

Had positive reviews about this place when I first came but gradual experiences left a bad taste.

Sports hall is too run down and old, floors are too slippery and dangerous for badminton players. Lightings are bad as well, seems like there isnt much proper maintenance going on.

Worst of all is, the staff at this venue are always too eager and impatient to end their shift exactly at 10pm that they start to switch off the lights and amenities (including toilets once they notice there's no one) before 10pm. A proper inspection for this place is...
