Marhat — Local services in Hubina

If you've had the time and energy for a good climb chose this one. It's about 2.5 hours up the hill if you leave your car under the mountain. If you are coming from the village it's more like 3 hours. Nice walk through the forest you will find a little chapel where on St George's day huge celebrations are in place. Imagine a big fayre on the meadows with hundreds of people soaking the first sun. From the chapel it's not that far but it gets little steeper. Once up on top make sure to climb the last bit, the viewing platform. Great views upto 30-40 km...

Very nice sightseeing tower near Piestany. You can choose various ways to get there. We went by car to Old Lehota from there it is about 2 hours. 6km. There is no water on the way,no restaurants nothing so be ready for proper countryside walk. Beautiful scenery everywhere in awesome Slovakia...

Krásna turistika ktorú som absolvovala z nitrianskej blatnice po zelenej smerom k rotunde sv.juraja...turistický chodník ponúka výhľady na okolie Topoľčian...zobor...je vidno aj rozhladnu marhat...od rotundy začína stúpanie po žltej cez les...občas treba dávať pozor na kamene, vytŕčajúce korene stromov a cyklistov...videla som aj slepúcha, jašterice... 😀 od sedla pod marhatom ide červená značka smerom k rozhladni...vyhlad je neskutočný...volnym okom vidno zobor, mochovce, žibricu, bohunice, Piešťany, zaruby, dediny okolo Piešťan a Topoľčian, plesivec, Čachtický hrad, tematin...atd..pri rozhladni je prístrešok kde je možnosť na opekačku..cez vikend treba rátať s tym, ze toto miesto je velmi obľúbené turistami..takze určite tam nebudete sami ;) výstup na marhat z blatnice mi...
