Lovely place to go for a hike and bonus just in the middle of town! You donā€™t even know your still inside PE when hiking their ! Must go with a crowd otherwise not safe as we always go with a few people as well as dogs for security ! Their so many different paths you never have to travel on the same one twice if you donā€™t want!

I do recommend to start the trail in Overnbaakens at ā€žFattrack trailsā€. My friend and I enjoyed walking the yellow route and felt very safe. Also the trails there are well marked.

One of my favourite places in this wonderful city of Port Elizabeth. The valley runs almost the entire length of it and provides excellent singletrack and trail running opportunities. Lots of shade and lots of bird life šŸ˜‰ it is scenic and much safer now than ever before thanks to clubs using it for mountain biking and running. Great piece of nature which runs through the heart of Port Elizabeth. Locals use it for mountain bikinf, trail running and walks, as well as having a small bit of rock face for bouldering (abseiling). Be cautioned when in this area, there have been criminal incidents.
