This is a story with a REALLY happy ending. A week ago I did some serious damage to one of my wheels when I hit a horrid, wheel-munching pothole. So, I took myself off to Mikro Industrial Park in Strydompark today, to have it repaired 😞😡🤬 - not a happy puppy. And then ........ I came across the Geldof Chocolates Factory Shop - this turned my mood around!!! First of all, the GORGEOUS smell of chocolate and then the amazing variety - I had tumbled into paradise. You HAVE to visit this factory shop in Strydom Park!!! The chocolate is amazing!! It’s not that sweet sickly tasting chocolate and the only disadvantage is it tastes like more!! I get so many birthday gifts here because I can get for male, female and even children!! Beautifully wrapped and a huge selection AND you get 10% off on all your purchases. Don’t go there if you want to lose weight!!! I walked in yesterday and immediately got a packet of chocolate coated peanut clusters and wolfed them all the way home!! An absolute “must buy”...

Something has changed in the past years Lots less stock in store, the magic of mountains of chocolate is gone and crazy stupid expensive chocolate... It was worth any savings going to the factory shop to buy bulk. Not anymore. You can purchase same quality cheaper chocolate at checkers. I think Geldhof have changed management who are changing a lot more money with a new business where they want to get rich fast. I would most certainly only visit them again in perhaps in mid 2024 - maybe they will close up shop or...
