Pizza Perfect Woodhill — Local services in Gauteng

Wow, Pizza Perfect's "Perfect Pizza" is truly the best pizza there is. We've had pizzas at other restaurants, and the overall rating does not quite match up.

Woodfired, thin base with topping combinations that I find relaxing and satisfying.

Our Friday's do not require thinking: Fetch the children. Order the "Perfect Pizza" before "rush hour". Wait for the delivery guy. Pay (without looking at the slip) Enjoy.

But today, Pizza Perfect Woodhill left a bad taste in my mouth.... Seems I am not the first either...

Today I noticed that the price of the Perfect Pizza and the amount deducted from my account did not match.

I contacted the restaurant and spoke with the manager. He was very helpful and willing to resolve the problem. He sent me a picture of the slip which includes a delivery fee, and that explains the difference in the amount.

However, we have been ordering from them for a very longtime, and never has delivery fee been added, except when you use the app.

It turns out that delivery is free for Woodhill, but not Garsfontein, which in reality is right next to "Woodhill" aka Pretorius Park. (Did you know that Pizza Perfect Woodhill is actual within the borders of Garsfontein?)

Anyway, I reviewed their website, T's and C's etc., but nowhere does it state that there is a delivery fee.

With this information I asked the manager why would a delivery fee be added now? His answer, it sometimes adds it automatically, but he'll send his driver now to return the delivery fee. I declined. I also wonder how many times we've been "automatically fooled" into paying delivery.

The lesson: Look at your slip, and like my father once "jokingly" told me long ago: "never trust anyone, not even...

I see a lot of people complaining about delivery times. People need to understand that if 30 people order for delivery in a span of two hours, the two delivery guys have four minutes per delivery. That is impossible to do, so you have to understand that it will take a while. You can always phone your order in advance and collect it at your own time.

Quality of pizza - best in town, honestly. I have had pizzas at Pizza Perfect Woodhill, Garsfontein and Mooikloof. Nobody beats Woodhill. Yes, the prices are a bit high, but they are the same as all other Pizza Perfects. These pizzas are made from scratch and prepared in wood fire ovens. These aren't instant pizzas from Roman's. Always a treat to watch the guys build and cook your pizza.

Incorrect Delivery and Unacceptable Delay

Dear Customer Service,

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with my recent order experience. I placed an order for pizza and wings at 18:15 for delivery. However, the driver delivered the wrong order. Despite this mistake, I have yet to receive the correct order, and it is now 19:58.

This delay is completely unacceptable. I have been left waiting for almost two hours. I am highly dissatisfied with this experience and expect immediate rectification of this issue.
