The thing that first attracted me to the Scarab market in Sedgefield was the vibrancy and energy of the market. There used to be stalls at the entrance and stalls scattered around, open and inviting. It was what I call organized chaos, like nature it flowed and I enjoyed meandering around the vibrant market spending my money. But unfortunately this time I noticed that the "vibe" was gone. There were no stalls in front of the building. The stalls were boxed up in straight lines. It felt to me like a military base camp. Cold linear and too structured. The vibrant energy gone. It kind of left me feel cheated out on my spending spree and adventure. I had no interest in staying long. I really do wish the vendors success in sales and business. Sadly I have no desire to go back there. It's completely lost it's...

This store openly displays racism. One of their wooden signs says “DISCOUNT is a place in CHINA”, which is blatantly offensive, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable.

Such a sign is not “funny” — it is racist and disrespectful to an entire nation and its people. For a business to put this up shows a shocking lack of awareness and sensitivity.

I strongly urge the owners to remove this racist sign immediately and reflect on the harm it causes. Customers deserve to shop in a place that promotes respect, not xenophobia. Until this is addressed, I cannot recommend this...
