The Market Square Shopping Centre — Local services in George

Generally Im all about promoting places in Plett but this center has a long standing bad vibe that does not look like it will ever change🥺 Entering the center there is a sign indicating it is a "No Smoking Center" bur from the Shop owners, center management, to the customers, it's hard to move about in this center without being smoked on in the public walkways. The garden beds and parking area is also littered with cigarette buts, testimony to the general atmosphere. There is a poorly designed single exit which causes endless traffic problems and no backup power so load shedding is a problem. Over the years since this center was built I have found the parking layout to cause many fender benders with far too many "hit and runs" while there are cameras over the parking, the center management does not have a form you can fill in to request the footage to see who bumped your car. They bump you from pillar to post then say oh sorry the footage is only kept for 7 days it's deleted now 😡 like I said bad vibes at market square. If I have a choice, I avoid this center, but they have some shops I need to visit regularly, free toilets, and they are in Plett so going there is...
