Giant's Cup Wilderness Reserve — Local services in Kwa Sani Local Municipality

We spent a night at the Fishermans Cottage on 24th June 2017. No hospitality to mention. The kitchen is not equipped properly... no frying pan, no egg whisk, the freezer department of the fridge had not been cleaned/prepared for the next guest. The cottage is not maintained. It was freezing cold so thank goodness there's a fireplace and plenty of wood. Remember to take your own bedding as the duvet is very thin and there are no extra blankets. If you like big thick towels then take your own with as the towels are small bath size. No shower. Very disappointing. Definitely not five star. Audrey and Sid...

Garden Castle is a beautiful part of the berg . We hiked to Pillar cave the hoke is all the way next to the river and it's a slow climb up . So worth it . We stayed at Fairview chalets . The camp site looked onto the berg . The psth was easy to follow 8km round trip . We started our hike early morning rested at Pillar cave where one can sleep over . There is a further cave and waterfall to walk to . Garden Castle is well looked after by Ezemvelo . One can here a guide but...

Was absolutely blown away by how stunning this place is! The cottage itself blew my socks off! The bed! The bath! The lounge! The windows! I am absolutely in love with how remote and cosy it is, we were cut off from everything and everyone and it was BLISS! The best way to have started our marriage!
