I would like to thank Portia and Agnes for the warm welcome and for a good service received, you guys were helpful.

Your water park is very nice, but your accommodation definitely needs an attention in order to be a world class resort. The Sewage system needs to be improved as both the sink and the showers were getting blocked whenever we use them or either the water is running very low, there was a bad smell coming from the sewage every now and then, beds and linen are old and needs to be changed.Your accommodation is self- catering but it was not fully equipped with cutlery or the number of items per room were not matching the number of occupants in a unit (e.g grater, mugs, iron etc). A simple bright painting would be nice on the walls, at some point we felt like we are bunch of kids at a creche.

Lastly, you need an effective and efficient process at the entrance and your security personnel must be consistent and at least act like they enjoy their work, its like they were doing us a favor by helping us, we had to wait for almost half an hour before we could be attended, while they were busy doing their own stuff and meanwhile we are left outside frustrated on a 34...

We visited Platinum Island around 3 pm when the parking lot was completely empty. Despite this, we were asked to pay a R70 parking fee or park outside. When we raised this issue with the senior parking attendant, he insisted that we either pay or leave the lot, even though the secure parking inside remained unused. This place was nice and the pools were nice and clean too however there was no life guards near the slides which sucks for when there's kids. When we went there was a girl hosting a 21st birthday party with a tent setup so that's also nice that you can book it as a venue. There's 2 trampolines and a jumping castle too.
