The chocolate festival 2019 was absolutely shocking. In the worst way possible. The tickets were R180 and they advertised that this includes a goodie bag. What I received can't even be classified as a goodie bag. It was filled with cheap sweets that even kids wouldn't be happy with. There were an underwhelming about of stalls and 9/10 were overpriced with horrible tasting chocolate. There was little variety between the chocolates and even the so called 'fine Belgium chocolate' was cheap tasting and grainy with a horrible aftertaste. The savoury food was about the best and even then, consisted mainly of burgers etc. which you definitely don't need to go to a chocolate festival to get. A lot of the stalls didn't have card facilities either. After less than an hour we were bored out of our minds. Was so under whelming. Can't believe the goodie bag consisted of a cheap packet with 10 cents of kiddies sweets! Considering how much tickets cost for the chocolate festival and there was so little chocolate and nothing chocolate in the goodie bag. Such a let down and such a RIP off.
