Cheongdo Wine Tunnel — Local services in Hwayang-eup

Worth checking out if you're in the area! There is an extra section towards the end of the tunnel where you have to pay a donation/fee to enter. I think it was about 2-3,000 won, so not very expensive but there wasn't too much more to see.

The persimmon wine was quite sweet, as you'd expect. They also sold CHEESE at a little stand which I was quite happy about because it was hard to come by cheese living in Cheongdo :P

This place would be perfect for a date or just to go...

Nice set up. However....single lane to drive in...parking reduced when they built makeshift park sitting area so now only 20 cars have parking and terrible turn around point. Wine is made from parsimons and whichever you choose you only get a shot glass amount if not less in a mini wine glass. Cheese and cracker plate STALE! And don't lean on the walls there is alot...

Nice little place to spend some time. Go early when there aren't a lot of people. Would be much better in the fall with the leaves changing colours, no doubt.
