I had a very bad/ FRAUD experience with the luge race here. Once I purchased the package/ticket, they gave me a wrist band and synced it through NFC with an application in my phone. I had bought the Master Challenge Survival Package here. That meant that I'd get to do 2 courses (laps) and if I qualified in the 2nd course by completing it within 1 minute 30 seconds and crossing 40km/hr max speed, then I'd get the master/expert license and I could do the 3rd lap on the expert track which was the most challenging. And If I couldn't qualify after the 2nd course, then I'd get to do that course again. So in total I'd get to do 3 courses (laps). So in my 2nd course I didn't qualify and hence I repeated the same course, my last chance. In this 3rd chance, I qualified and got the expert license. Now I had no chances left, and if I wanted to do the expert/master's course I had to purchase 2 rounds for 25000 Korean Wong, as shown in my application which was synced with the wrist band I was wearing. Now the fraud happened. As I was heading for the exit, one of their staff literally asked me to show him my wrist band, he scanned it on his phone and accessed my data and deleted the latest 2 course records out of the 3 course that I had done and deleted my master's/ expert license from my app and told me that since I had no turn left, he gave me 2 extra chances as the latest 2 courses were deleted from my app, I'd get to do them again. At this point I thought, that he was helping me, since I qualified for the master's and maybe he wanted tourists to experience the master course and a promotion for their park. So I went and completed the 2 extra courses that I had got, and realized the fraud here!
When you do this course, you realize that these luge carts are/can be remotely controlled. And in these 2 turns, my luge kart was deliberately made to go slower than earlier times, so I couldn't qualify for the license. The staff even used excuses like the wind might be slowing down the luge kart, etc etc. I even complained to them regarding this. And I know when I haven't done well, and I'm a sport. I'd accept if I didn't do well or genuinely failed to qualify. But experiencing the vast difference in my initial 3 attempts and the last 2 attempts I realized that they didn't want me to get the expert/master's license and hence deleted the license from my account.
I had specially purchased the package because I knew I was a regular at the sport and good enough and wanted to experience the Master's challenge. But they are absolute FRAUD. AND anybody serious about the master's challenege would know this.
The only possible reasons for them to do this with me was either, they didn't want me to get the license in the first attempt or they're absolute RACIST.
Either way, I never thought such a thing would ever happen with me in Korea. Absolute FRAUD. NEVER RECOMMENDING...
Read moreThis would've been much better experience if the attractions weren't so time limited and if you wouldn't HAVE to download the park's app... Because without it you won't be able to participate in... anything. At least they made deleting the account easy, but it still feels just like plain and simple data harvesting - you have to put in your phone number, then your email, to which you can send videos from the track (which is stupid and I don't understand why the download is not set to be done thru the app, since the app is already in your phone), which are oftentimes too big, so you have to do it some other way. I would also suggest buying the tickets somewhere cheaper, such as Klook or Agoda otherwise this place is not really worth the money.
You get there, you show them your reservation, they print out your bracelet and sync the app with the bracelet. Then you can go and store things in a locker and continue to the 3rd floor to prepare for a ride. There are 3 tracks, only one of them has two seaters in case you have someone who will not ride on their own. The ride lasts about minute and half, you just do the steering and breaking, there's no acceleration. After that you go back up the hill Jurassic Park style, the cars are autonomous when they go up. We got there before 9 am and were able to squeeze in only 3 rides.
After 10 am the track closes and you move to floor B2, where the arcades, kinetic games and bumper cars are. Again, this is limited to only an hour. Which sucks, because you can scan your bracelet at any arcade to put yourself in the queue, so an arcade may look empty, but it's actually not. You have to wait if the person that scanned their bracelet before you even shows up. Other than that the selection of games is quite good. A lot of these are limited to few minutes of playtime only, so the queueing system kinda loses its point. Had people coming back to archery, just to leave it after the first round, because something else they wanted to play more just became available.
There's a gift shop and even tho we got there on November 1st, the Pokémon collab/exhibition was...
Read moreVery cool place overall. The place is well planed and well made, very suitable to spend a few hours here if you buy the full package. When you arrive, you can either buy the ticket at the counter, or on the multiple screens they have available. You can choose whether to just do the highlight stuffs, or do everything. Later you need to download an APP, register yourself, and all your data from the games you played, your scores, will be saved on the App.
The main highlight is the gravity car. The car doesn't have acceleration or anything, just pure downhill. You don't race with other people, just by yourself in your own lane. But the free downhill feeling gives you a nice feeling. I would say the car is quite small even for normal sized person, so just saying. There is a GoPro on the car, after your race, the video will be uploaded to the APP for you to watch. After you reach the finish line, the car goes into auto driving mode, and automatically drives back up hill to the starting line which was pretty cool. If you buy the most basic ticket, you can only play this twice, and you can't go on the most advanced race track.
The second highlight that also comes with the basic ticket is the laser tag. It was fun but the laser tag room itself is quite small, and with 20+ people in there, it's a free for all really. If you're looking for a more tactical laser tag experience, this is not it. This is purely just for fun and games.
The full price ticket will come with free access to arcade games, and VR games. If you have time to kill, then the full ticket would be worth it.
Lastly though, when I was there, I was only get to play the Gravity car once because the fog got pretty serious. I don't have time to wait for the fog to clear so I went back to the counter and got a partial refund, which the person was very happy to give. I think it was a great gesture as someplace wouldn't even allow...
