Our stay at Guinsa Templestay was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything was beautifully organized, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the unique and peaceful atmosphere of temple life.
A special thank you must go to Mr. Kim, whose insightful explanations and heartfelt guidance gave us a meaningful glimpse into the daily life and philosophy of a Buddhist practitioner. His warmth, kindness, and wonderful sense of humor made a lasting impression on all of usโespecially our son Daniel, who was genuinely touched by the experience.
The serene surroundings, the gentle routines, and the graciousness of the temple staff and monks created the perfect environment for reflection, connection, and learning. We only wish we could have stayed longer, and we are already looking forward to returning for a deeper experience in the future.
Sincere thanks to everyone at Guinsaโand most of all to Mr. Kimโfor making this...

After you alight you the exercise of climbing the steep slope.
The temple is grand, but it not very typical Koreanโs temple architecture. And the history isnโt that long.
By the time you reached the top I was expecting a Buddha but it was not. The Buddha is on the 5th storey. There is a lift.
I like the peace and was amazed by the workers there that how they need to bring the food through the steep slope and was done by women and they are quite old already. Salute to them. Their stamina is so good.
But I think one time is enough, is grand and big, but somehow I felt...
