어메이징 파크 — Local services in Pocheon-si

It's core is a tech museum midst in a beautiful park with a huge bias to mechanical engineering- especially to gears. To the best of my knowledge, they offer the most comprehensive courses about gears. You can see all sorts of gears in there. They have some attractive things just like Tech museum in San Jose. They offer a guide in four different languages: English, Chinese, Japanese, of course Korean (I mean just description panel). The main building has 100+ mechanic devices each of which describes how it works. You can run it manually. I visited there twice since I have relatives near there. We decided to take my two kids ages 9 and 11 to this museum since it was close to Bears Town Ski resort. This park is literally "AMAZING!" Three floors of hands on interactive science learning fun. If your child likes mechanics and gears, this is the place to be. The outdoors has bridges to walk that are high up the trees. Included as well is a nice suspension bridge near the entrance by the parking lot. A huge serene cafe is also located next to the museum. It was definately better than I expected. 어린이날을 보낼 만한 장소를 찾던 중 블로그에서 눈에 띄어 가게 된 곳 입니다. 과학 박물관 같은 식으로 홍보는 되어 있으나... 정확히는 도르레, 기어, 핀, 축등의 기계들이 상호 작용하여 어떤식의 움직임을 보여 줄 수 있는지에 대한 것들만 거의 전시 되어 있습니다. 관심이 있는 어린이들이나 청소년에게는 유익하겠지만...^^;;; 어린 아이들에게는 한번 구동해 보는 것 외에는 ... 여튼 그런 기계들을 응용한 물그네가 있는데 이건 아이들에게 인기 만점 이더군요.^^ 외부에 흔들 다리가 두 종류 있는데 숨겨진 흔들다리는 아주 경사가 있는 부분이 있어 이제 막 걷기 시작한 아이들과는 걷는걸 비추합니다. 제 추측이지만 흔들다리 난간 높이가 충분치 않아 아이를 안고 걷지 못 하도록 되어 있습니다. 혹시 일어날 수 있는 안전사고를 대비 함이겠지요. 매점은 있으나 제가 간날은 운영은 하지 않더군요. 어메이징파크 옆에 까페가 있는데... 들어갔다가 너무 대기줄이 길고 혼잡해서 이용은 하지 않았습니다. 역학기구들에 관심이 있는 아이들에게는 유익한 장소가 될 수 있을것 같은데... 제가 보기엔 좀 더 많은 부분이 보완되어야...
