El Higueral Golf — Local services in Benahavís

It's definitely one of the top 9 hole courses near Marbella. However it is not great value. It is amongst the higher green fees for 9 holes, great value for 18 but had no clubhouse and no practice facilities. No range, chipping green or putting or changing rooms.

Course is really well laid out, high and low handicappers will have fun. Nice natural and man made features with great views. Unlike some of the 9 hole courses nearby you'll probably need your full set of clubs so a great course for new golfers.

A real shame they don't have even a net to take a few swings and a putting green is a basic nowadays.

Snacks and drinks available. A great place to sit before and after your round to enjoy a beer...

El Higueral Golf is a very popular 9 hole golf course which we play very often with HH. Normally we play the first nine off the yellow and the second round off the white Ts. There is a small outside bar ( no draft beers as yet ) and seating for up to thirty and the staff are friendly. Golf clothing is also available in the Pro Shop and a full 18 course is in the planning and hopefully some additional WCs for L & G. Golf buggies are available and you can also walk the course which has a wide variety of holes some elevated with some quite challenging off the white Ts. Looking forward to playing it again...
