Hike relatively difficult to describe. It took me 5h round trip from parking to top via horizontal trail (so shortest but steepest). It’s not difficult per se, most within shadow, however the steepest part is on relatively loose small rocks/stones. That means that though climbing is ok, descend can be problematic. Would recommend hiking poles and shoes with good adhesion. It can be done in 4h, it was not my best day, didn’t have poles nor good shoes. One important note - it was early October, 20stgh degrees, not to hot but high humidity. I had water but not that was main issue but body was not able to cool down efficiently in this temperature. That’s the main...
Read moreA wonderful place for a walk Peace and quiet. Plenty of other walkers, all going faster than me :). I made it to the top without any preparation or special equipment. It took me six hours from start to finish, using the easy route (from Font the Molí, head left and follow the yellow and white signs) that loops around the North face and gentler slope. The first 2/3 is easy walking, with a tree cover. The last 1/3 is harder, with one slightly dodgy bit. We walked down the same path. The hard path leaves the Font de Molí on the right, and is much more challenging, they say. Still, we saw whole families, with dogs, ascending and descending. So,...
Read moreThe steep climb is for those that are fit and experienced. I have lots of experience in the mountains and I’m fit, but the steep side was still quite hard. I expected an ok climb but going up and down the steep vertical side was challenging. It took me 4,5 hours back and forth to the top. The steep side has tricky parts and lots of loose stones and boulders. Don’t go with just sneakers and little experience. Take around 2-3 liters of water with you. If you reach the top you will have the greatest view of the entire area, which is definitely worth it. Be prepared for a quite tricky ascend and even...
