This review is specifically for the golf Club House and wonderfully friendly and accommodating staff in it. We weren't staying at the Jandia Golf, nor playing on the course, rather staying at one of the apartment complexes a short walk from the clubhouse.

It was the only place in reasonable walking distance to go and get something to eat and drink.

But it was VERY good and as other reviews mention, really rather reasonable. We pretty much staggered back up the hill on many occasions.

It was just beautiful sitting with a cool breeze from the mountains, the bright hot sun and sitting under the shade offered by the pergola style covering.

Beer was ice cold in frozen glasses, sangria was very pleasant, food was very good though we didn't deviate much from tapas or pizza.

Couldn't recommend it enough. Most days it was one guy who was very friendly, no complaints about others though.

If you are staying locally "up the hill" we used this as a starting point before going out into Moro Jable as it is a well understood Taxi pick up point without trying to explain your exact address.

Well worth a visit and you can leave your hire car there if...

“Pleasantly Surprised - A Great Round!”

I was a little apprehensive about playing here after reading some mixed reviews, but I decided to give it a go — and I’m glad I did. The overall cost was €128, which included club rental (which were perfectly adequate), a buggy, and my round of golf.

It’s clear that a lot of work has gone into improving the course compared to earlier feedback. The fairways were lush and fully grassed, and the greens were in great condition very receptive and well maintained. The course layout offers some spectacular views, though it was quite windy during my round, which is just down to the location.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing here; there are some really beautiful holes to experience. The staff were friendly and helpful they even arranged a taxi for me after my round.

As I didn’t bring any equipment with me, I hired everything. The only downside was that the clubhouse shop was quite limited they didn’t even have gloves for sale. Luckily, the staff managed to find one I could borrow, which saved the day.

In summary: a great experience and a course well worth playing just remember to bring...

The facilities are very basic with the pro shop being very lightly stocked. The hire clubs available are rather old and tatty but do the job just fine. They are overpriced for what you get though. I would say to look elsewhere for hire or even bring your own(certainly if playing more than once).

I paid €120 which was for my round, club hire, buggy and 30 range balls.

The buggies are great. Easy to use, good condition.

The course layout has changed to what can be seen on Google maps or if you use apps like 18Birdies. General course condition was good. Some greens were a bit patchy but tolerable.

The wind was the biggest challenge as to be expected on Fuerte Ventura. In to wind you are getting 220yrd drives. With wind over 300yrds so needs to be factored in.

Course was not busy at all when I arrived there was one other pair out and I completed my round in just over 2hrs (without rushing - plenty of stops for pictures). When I left a few extra buggies were...
