I wanted to like this place because it's right next to my house. So I went after a walk by to the chapel, and later stopped here for a beer.

However, I went to use the restroom before I ordered. I saw a sign that said clients only for the restroom.

I thought it would be no problem, I was going to order after anyways.

When I walked out, I heard the bartender complaining very loudly and on purpose that I didn't read the sign and it was for customers only. I had read it, but I really had to go pee. This is not customer service, this is passive aggression. Why not simply offer me something? I could have just said yes and ordered right away to clear the confusion. Instead the bartender chose poor etiquette.

So instead of buying tapas and beer, I just bought one beer and left. Their frustration and passive aggression only made me want to leave. Who wants to be in a place where the staff gives ugly expressions just because you used the restroom to pee before you ordered.

This is a very clear opinion on service towards their guests and prejudice. I felt like I was looked at like trash just for using the services before I ordered.

I left, terrible service in my opinion 👎🏾. As a former server in Los Angeles, California, I know with certainty: guests should not be able to hear your personal opinions of them nor sense your hostility instead of hospitality as I had in this instance.

The decor and ambiance is very generic, and preprinted cookie cutter faux "antique" designs with English writing. The same as the Navajeda down the street. They could do so much with this place, but decided to put stickers on it as decorations.

February 2025: I have to say, the ladies who run this bar are kind and helpful. I had a burger which came with a small portion of some of the loveliest tasting chips (French fries really) I've ever had. The burger was really tasty too. Also dessert and two lemon beers. Just under 20 euros. Ideal for an evening out 🙂

Typical of Spain, there was no rush to get me out of the bar, nor to order more too quickly. Spanish language music playing and footie on the tv.

A really nice, restful, easy going place by the sea.

Terrible service, a lot of waiting for the food. I ordered some bravas, and after 40 minutes of waiting (after 3times reminding them about my order) they gave me some fried crabs. I would get it if he wasn't reminded by me for the bravas, or when he came to our table didn't ask for confirmation of the food again, but like this it's complete nonsense.The waitresses isn't paying attention if somebody new sits down, not even for the things you order. English of course is not even on a basic level here. Giving two stars but just because...
