I recently had an experience with Mojo Coasteering that was a mix of highs and lows. On the positive side, the coasteering itself was amazing! The adventure was exhilarating and challenging, offering a perfect mix of thrill and natural beauty. Miguel, our guide, was incredibly professional and ensured our safety throughout the entire journey. His expertise and enthusiasm added a lot to the overall experience.
However, despite the fantastic coasteering, my overall rating is just 1 star. After our adventure, we were eager to see the photos of our special day. Unfortunately, despite contacting Mojo Coasteering 8 times, we never received the photos. This was a significant disappointment as these memories were very special to us. To make matters worse, it appears that we've now been blocked on WhatsApp, which feels very unprofessional and adds to our frustration.
The amazing experience with Miguel and the challenging coasteering can't make up for the letdown of not receiving our photos and the poor communication afterward. This has really tarnished what could have been a...
Read moreGreat, fun and adventurous trip. I can't praise the guide enough; he really was so knowledgeable, patient, caring and very funny. The activity is quite strenuous and at times hazardous, within reason, so bare in mind it's not a walk in the park. The hike out of the canyon was one of the hardest I have done, and I've hiked all over the world. It's steep, hot, you carry a backpack of wet gear, and you have to at times climb with your hands whilsts dodging the cactis plants on very narrow paths or along cliff edges. Overall it's all part of the adrenaline thrill and enjoying nature and the landscape. I recommend highly. There was a bit of misunderstanding over meeting point as Get Your Guides instructions of where to meet was a different side of the island to where the activity instructions meeting point was. And I was anxious and disappointed that the several emails I sent and two calls that I made regarding this were not responded to. Meet where Get Your Guide...
Read moreWe've done a few costeering excursions over the years and this is possibly the best one, primarily because of the guide, Miguel who was a fizzing bundle of energy, fun and enthusiasm. The excursion (8 people in total) began a short distance outside Taurito (via minibus) with kit collection, a briefing and then a walk along the coastline to the first activity. Thereafter we did various jumps and swims plus an excellent dip into a tidal 'washing machine' (can't really think of another way to describe it!) and a zipwire jump - all punctuated by Miguel's constant encouragement and general excited chat. The via ferrata (clipped-on climbing) was great but three of us didn't do it so we simply bobbed along in the sea to the next section. All in all it took about 5 hours to get back to Taurito beach. You need to be relatively fit but can sit out any of the parts you don't want to do. Highly recommended and was a fabulous part of...
