The Posada has been beautifully restored, as have most of the houses in this tiny, peaceful hamlet in the mountains of northern Spain. The public rooms are comfortable and well-equipped with books, games etc, while our bedroom and bathroom were well designed and characterful. The Posada looks out onto a tumbling stream with a tiny bridge. It does provide simple and tasty evening meals using homegrown vegetables (had trouble providing a sufficient meal for a vegetarian however). Breakfast was simple Spanish but good. The family was welcoming and spoke a little English. You have to leave your car at the entrance to the hamlet and walk 200 yards to the Posada.
