Mandativu or Spider Island is a medium sized island located south of Jaffna. This island is also located close to the city of Jaffna. That is to say, the island can be reached by traveling about 5 km along the AB 35 road which starts from Jaffna. Mandativu Island is located west of Poonaryn Point, about a kilometer away.
