Tranquil Oasis Amidst Batticaloa's Bustle: Eco Park Review Eco Park Batticaloa is a verdant sanctuary nestled in the heart of the city, offering respite from the urban clamor. With its sprawling greenery and serene waterways, this park is a haven for nature enthusiasts and families seeking tranquility. The meticulously maintained pathways wind through lush foliage, inviting leisurely strolls and bike rides. Picnic spots dot the landscape, providing idyllic settings for alfresco dining and bonding with loved ones. The diverse array of flora and fauna enhances the park's allure, making it a paradise for birdwatchers and photographers alike. A highlight of Eco Park is its boating facilities, allowing visitors to explore the scenic lake and its environs. Whether gliding serenely on a paddleboat or simply basking in the lakeside serenity, the park's beauty is truly mesmerizing. The park staff are amiable and attentive, ensuring visitors enjoy a seamless experience. Furthermore, the park's pristine facilities and well-groomed grounds underscore its dedication to environmental preservation. In summary, Eco Park Batticaloa is a hidden gem offering a harmonious blend of relaxation and adventure. Whether seeking solitude amidst nature's embrace or embarking on a family outing, this park promises an enriching experience for all. Highly recommended for anyone seeking solace or exploration amidst Batticaloa's vibrant landscape!

I recently visited Bone Island, one of the natural attractions in Batticaloa. However, I was disappointed to find that there was no food available. Nonetheless, the lagoon with a small island was a wonderful sight to behold, and there was a boat service that offered three different packages, costing Rs. 3000, Rs. 5000, and Rs. 10,000, respectively. The boats can accommodate up to eight persons at a time, and you can ride them to enjoy the scenic views. Overall, if you're looking to appreciate the beauty of the lagoon and go boat riding, then this is worth a visit. However, don't expect too much in terms of amenities and services. I have given it a 4-star rating mainly because of the natural beauty of the place.

Eco Park offers a unique and scenic location that's truly worth the boat ride to get there. The setting is stunning and promises an interesting experience. However, it's disappointing to see that the park itself is not well-maintained, which takes away from the overall charm. Additionally, be cautious of boat drivers trying to pull scams if you're not aware. In spite of these drawbacks, the natural beauty of the location is a redeeming factor.
