Now you can enter this New Calido beach through Kalutara South. Can park vehicles in the Good shed road, next to the station (Park at your own risk). Beach extends all the way close to the Avani - Anantara Kalutara Resorts.

The place is calm and lets you enjoy the natural beauty of the sea. The rocks that are on the sea shore among the coconut trees, make it different from most of the beaches and they also allow you to sit and enjoy the view. However, it was possible to see some rubbish and plastic cans lying here and there. On the day I went there, there weren't any restaurants or shops nearby but some ice-cream sellers were there.
