It is a place you have to visit atleast once in your life. This temple is located near to Minuwangoda and usually crouded on poyadays. This temple is historical and has an archeological value. It says that the history of the temple runs in to the great king Valagamba era.The largest wooden statue of the Lord Buddha is located on the top of the mountain and the authorities allow visitors to be on the top of the mountain only on poyadays.
