Gimån — Local services in Bräcke kommun

Beautiful river with crystal clear water, very popular for fly fishing. Cards can be bought online only. Large parking right by E14, summer restaurant, picnic area, all year round roofed toilets, camping waste drop off. Wind shed and fire place for those fishing and hiking just a few meters down the trail. This is where the Gimåleden starts - a picturesque trail along the river bank. This is also where you can rest if you are walking along the St'Olavs pilgrims way ( from Sundsvall to Trondheim ). The spot is a great place to visit when traveling along E14 to stretch your legs, take a bite, watch nature. Those who fish trout ( up to 4,6kg ) and grayling call this particular stretch of Gimån one of the best in Sweden. You can see the fish if you pop on polarized sunglasses and stare at the river...

Trevlig rastplats med ett väldigt bra matutbud. Rastplatsen ligger aldeles intill Gimån som erbjuder en trevlig omgivning med möjligheter att promenera längs ån och på iordningställda bryggor längs åstranden.
