My friend and I stumbled upon Magdakullan during our cycling trip around Lake Hjälmaren, initially planning for just a quick coffee stop. Little did we know, this hidden jewel would completely charm us! What started as a brief pause turned into a 3-hour lunch and coffee. The staff were warm and welcoming, the food was absolutely fantastic, and the peaceful atmosphere is just magical. If you're anywhere near the area, Magdakullan is an absolute must-visit - you might just find yourself staying longer than planned, like we did! 😅

Our mains (Swedish meatballs and hamburger) were very good, but the potato sides (French fries and mashed potatoes) were not good at all. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant mashed potatoes and the French fries tasted like they came from a bag in the freezer. Disappointing as we thought this was an organic restaurant and would have expected items to be made from scratch.

Absolutely one of the best restaurant ive tried this year and very friendly staff. Food was absolutely delicious och mysigt... our first time but surely not the last, coming back again to dine here someday... highly recommended!

Our mains (Swedish meatballs and hamburger) were very good, but the potato sides (French fries and mashed potatoes) were not good at all.
