Definitely an outpost island in the Bay of Bothnia, quite aways from both other islands and mainland. The North harbour is almost a military style, ugly industrial construction and you'll also find the large diesel engines - providing the cottages with electricity - in a hut close by (yes, they do make some noise for sure). However, there is also a big sandy beach that is perfect when arriving in a sea kayak! The neat cottages and the very shallow small boat harbour is on the other side of the island. The chapel in the middle is very beautiful and special and so is the lighthouse. No really good spots to pitch a tent, providing you don't want to risk getting soaked in sweat by the blazing...
