We had some time left on that day and checked out this bridge. And it was more impressive than we thought.
Of course the Golden Gate Bridge comes right to mind. It looks the part when you stand on the hill on the northern end. But unlike the Golden Gate this one wasn't half covered in fog when we visited. It almost has the same length as the counterpart, but this one here was built not long ago: back in 1997.
It was a nice early evening and the views very nice. You can park right at the end of the bridge. Lots of parking space available. Restaurants, shops and a Hotel are located here, as well as some bathrooms.

Read moreThere was a bridge view point under the bridge. Parking was available there and after that you have to go through the forest by walk. After that you will enter a paradise which has amazing bridge view from it under. Look at my photos. We spend there six hours and still wanted to stay there. There was a notice that mentioned there is a cable for 50m bothe sides. Water was crystal clear. This place has the most cleanest water I have ever seen in Sweden. A good place to BBQ party but there was no machine. There wasn't any seating area also but has lot of stones and rocky area so you may not need them. Lot's of flys and bugs were there.
