Läste på en informationstavla att stora delar av området var utan skog under 1800-talet till följd av svedjebruk och betoning av boskap. Det kan man inte tro idag. Det mesta av skogen tydligen planterad i början på 1900-talet. Delar en bild från Svinnsjön i områdets norra del.
