Stora Envätterns naturreservat — Local services in Södertälje kommun

I have been visiting this nature reserve since 2017. It is still my go-to spot for camping because: Aplenty fireplaces. Possibility to pitch tents near at least 3 fireplaces. Aplenty blueberries in summers. The area is wide, hence, longer camping is feasible from the chores perspective. A rundslingan of 4.5km helps to clear the mind. A swim is easily possible, though there isn't a beach suitable for kids.

Changes over the years: It didn't have a toilet earlier, now they have built one in the parking. This has reduced some human droppings in the woods. They don't seem to stack firewood anymore. I don't really expect it, in fact I'm happy. People misuse and waste free stuff like firewood. As it has grown popular over years, unfortunately, some unruly crowd regularly litters the reserve - leaving leftovers at the grills, defecation without digging ditches, littering, and being noisy. I think the kommune or the länsstyrelsen should periodically send some watchers, and impose fine on such uncivil visitors. While I don't mind dogs, they often start barking whenever anyone approaches a fireplace. Some owners deliberately ignore the behaviour of their dogs in order to scare off others from the grill places they think they have reserved.
