Beautifully run little museum about the history of the first buildings in Torsby, which were traditional Finnskogs. The estate is run by a few lovely old ladies, whose friendliness and helpfulness can not be emphasized enough. After viewing the many, many different buildings that contain detailed descriptions of life back then, we sat down for a delicious traditional meal of Fläsk och Motti, prepared freshly. Unfortunately it is closed on thursday and Friday which is neither mentioned in the Torsby Tourist Guide nor on Google Maps. So we just see a closed gate, this is a pity. Please add opening times...

Hembygdsgården Kollsberg ist ein absolut sehenswertes Freilichtmuseum, in dem man gerne seine Zeit verbringt. Die liebevolle Gestaltung und die vielen begehbaren Häuser machen den Besuch zu einer echten Entdeckungsreise durch verschiedene Epochen. Man bekommt einen lebendigen Eindruck davon, wie die Menschen früher gelebt haben.
