Pick Your Own: Had to wait 70 minutes to get in with two young kids under the hot sun.
They only have two entrance times per day when you can go in and pick your own fruit: 1300 and 1400. Having arrived at 1250 and joined the queue, we were stopped from entering and had to wait in a long queue until 1400.
Now I get the idea of limiting the number of people in the picking area due to obvious current health reasons, however standing and watching at least 50 people pay and leave the area with no-one new being allowed to enter until the rope was dropped at exactly 1400 was just a joke.
It would require little effort for them to have a "one-in", "one-out" system over and above the maximum number of occupants, and it would be far more customer friendly to be able to arrive whenever you want, instead of two set times per day, which clearly creates a stampede as people rush towards the fruit. I won't be doing that again.
Oh and it's also cheaper to buy your strawberries pre-picked from outside your favourite...
