If you are travelling with public transportation from Chur, make sure to catch Bus 182 all the way to the bus stop called "Rothorn" (takes about 30 minutes to get there. The landscape is really amazing so you won't get bored). The (two) aerial trams take about 15 minutes to reach the summit. Lots of mountain bikes around, a nice restaurant and of course nice views of the nearby lake (called Heidsee) , the villages and of course the mountains! Overall a very...

From the Heidsee lake, the gondola takes you to the tree line and Alp Scharmoin. The journey continues by cable car, climbing steeply over the craggy rocks to the western summit of the Parpaner Rothorn at 2,861 metres. A sun terrace and panorama restaurant invite you to sit back...

Top! Not as expensive as you expect it to be, which is a nice surprise. A couple of trails are leaving the summit in various directions, which I advise you to follow, because the views are stunning up there. Will be coming back to explore this...

A beautiful peak of 2861m. The hike to it and around it are on Lenzerheide‘s website. One shall be careful about snow in spring and autumn - it is dangerous for people with inadequate shoes especially when covered in snow.

"Hausberg" von der Lenzerheide mit extrem guter Aussicht. Vom Gipfel des Parpaner Rothorns aus sieht man 1000 Gipfel. Denn rundum in allen Himmelsrichtungen strecken sich Bergspitzen in den Himmel, unter vielen Unbekannten auch Grössen wie der Palü oder der Piz Bernina. Den Berg kann man bequem mit der Seilbahn "erklimmen" aber es gibt auch gut unterhaltene Wanderwege von der Lenzerheide oder von Arosa aus. Auf dem Berg gibt es zudem ein Panorama-Restaurant.
