Risletenschlucht — Local services in Beckenried

Staying in Emmetten with my other half whilst he works and had a day to myself. Looked on Google for this waterfall and after reading a couple of reviews that said there was nothing there etc. I was dubious. Started my journey at the Beckenried Schiff stop after getting the bus from Emmetten Post. Sat at the water edge for a little while and noticed an American couple waiting for their boat ride. Got talking and the lovely woman, without me saying anything about it, recommended this waterfall so I figured okay... Let's do it. And wow. I can understand people getting confused about location because the Google maps walking route does stop dead at a random location but just keep walking, you'll hear the waterfall after about 10 minutes of your Google maps route finishing. Seeing how expensive everything is to do/see in Switzerland, this free gem is definitely...

The wrong place no view point no water fall ! Nothing to see if you don’t know the exact place ! Not reliable google! You must go done - 3 bridges the most interesting is the one...

Mit dem Auto kann man bis auf eine kurze Wegstreckw von 15 Minuten nahe daran hinfahren. Der Weg führt teils unter der Autobahn durch. Aber danach kommt die grosse Felsplatte zum Klettern ( die es können..), wo links Oben auch Fussspuhren von kleineren Dinosauriern sichtbar sind. Die Schlucht mit seinen Wasserfällen ist von dort via Treppe innert 2 weiteren Minuten zu entdecken. Besonders nach vorangegangenen Regen recht eindrucksvoll, wie das Wasser dort...
