Schlittelbahn Preda Bergün — Local services in Bergün Filisur

I recently visited this tobogganing route and took my family from the UK, and it was an absolute blast from start to finish! The experience begins with a beautiful scenic train ride up the mountain, setting the tone for an awesome day. From there, a short 1km walk brings you to the starting point.

The first run is a fantastic 6km stretch. It’s not too fast, making it great for families and kids, but still exciting enough for adults to enjoy. However, the real highlight of the day was the second run.

At the bottom of the first route, a small chairlift takes you up to Darlux, where the real thrill begins. This steeper, more exhilarating 4.5km run (at an elevation of 2000m) had us laughing all the way down while clinging on for dear life! It’s pure fun and definitely not to be missed.

Nice scenery at a high price. However, the track was not really well made. Coupled with the fact that the entire slope is rather flat you can expect quite some walking and very slow speeds during riding. Writing „expect an adrenaline filled ride“ is very overstated. Am Mittwoch, 27. Dezember 2023, gingen wir, 5 Erwachsene und ein Kind, die Schlittenbahn Preda Bergün geniessen. Wir waren das erste und letzte Mal dort. Leider ist vor Ort keine genaue Preisangabe ersichtlich. Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist vom Kanton Glarus (Fahrzeit 1,5 Stunden), danach als erstes Schlitten mieten, 4 normale und einen Zweier Schlitten (gleich beim Bahnhof), CHF 80.- plus Depot oder ID. Bahntickets lösen 5 Erwachsene ah CHF 18.- und ein Kind für CHF 9.- für eine Station Einzelfahrt, Preda-Bergün. Dass aber die Schlittenpiste auch noch bezahlt werden muss (Erwachsene CHF 16, Einzelfahrt, Kind CHF 8.-), stand nirgends. Bis wir dann am Ende der Schlittenpiste dies bemerkten und natürlich auch bezahlten. Dort haben wir uns dann auch Glühweine gegönnt und Hotdogs, diese Preise waren auch im oberen Segment, aber super weisser Glühwein. Die Schlittenpiste ist am Anfang so flach, dass man bis zum ersten Viadukt laufen muss, aber danach eine schöne Abfahrt geniessen kann. Doch bedauerlicherweise ist auch am Ende der Piste wieder Laufen bis zum Bahnhof angesagt. Sprich: Es ist teuer und sehr geläufig. Totale Ausgaben für 6 Personen und einmal Schlitteln: CHF 268.- ohne Getränk und Imbiss. Total Kosten: CHF 340.- alles zusammen ohne Benzin...
