One of the ascents by foot is from Buochs via Gitzitritt. This is a difficult hiking tour (T4) over rugged, exposed terrain with several ladders. Very beautiful, but only recommended for people with the required alpine hiking experience.

Nice views of central Switzerland from the peak. Final section of the climb to the top is a bit boring and exposed (no tree cover). So take that into account if you're heading out there on a sunny day.

Das Buochserhorn ist ein toller Aussichts-Gipfel auf 1807m. Die Sicht auf den See, Luzern und die vielen umliegenden bekannten Gipfel ist grandios. Er ist aus vielen Richtungen erreichbar. Ich bin von Niederrickenbach Bergstation aus hochmarschiert. Die rund 650 Höhenmeter können so schnell überwunden werden. Zurück kann man einen anderen Weg nehmen. Ich bin über die Musenalp und Ahorn zurück. Geht auch nicht so lange und "fägt" auch noch, wegen der paar klettereien (Blau-Weiss-Markierung)
