Best place in the world .heaven for nature lovers . Switzerland is known for natural beauty . mountains ,snow ,etc. But let me tell you im asthematic and i use pump but this place turned out to be a heaven for me . i took two months leave and visited Switzerland . i didn't go to geneva or other cities but i chose to go to Alps and i was living in a village on rent of 200 chf a month .owners were so good i told them i have problem and im here for recovery so the old man used to take me too best places in knew in mountains ,waterfall exectra . he also taught me some meditation and said it will help you . And let me tell you i was not cured but i can say those two months were best moment of my life i enjoyed every single bit of it . Swiss people are very polite...

رشته‌کوهی در مرکز اروپاست که در بخش‌هایی از کشورهای ایتالیا, فرانسه, اتریش, آلمان, سوئیس, اسلوونی ولیختن‌اشتاین قرار گرفته‌است. بلندترین چکاد (قلهٔ) این رشته کوه مون بلان است که با بلندای ۴۸۰۸ متر در میان کشورهای فرانسه، ایتالیا و سوئیس جای گرفته‌است. دیگر چکادهای بلند این رشته کوه اینها هستند:

مونته روزا با بلندای ۴۶۳۳ متر میان دو کشور سوئیس و ایتالیا

وایسهورن (شاخ سپید) با بلندای ۴۵۰۶ متر در سوئیس

رشته کوه‌هایی را هم در زلاند نو و استرالیا به نام آلپ خوانده‌اند، در زلاندنو آلپ جنوبی و در استرالیا رشته کوه آلپ استرالیا. نام آلبانیا نیز از آلپ ریشه گرفته. لغت آلپ در زبانهای اروپایی گاه به عنوان مترادف برای کوه استفاده می‌شود و به همین دلیل آلبانیای قفقاز (منطقه کوهستانی) نیز در اصل آلپانیا… بوده. همچنین کشیدگی این رشته کوه در کناره دریای آدریاتیک را رشته کوه آلپ دیناری می‌خوانند.
