Big disappointment. Viewing platform closed. Simply closed. Why? Who cares - there is no information why. Maybe because of winter time (February, sunny day 13C no traces of snow), maybe because of financial problems of and cost reductions of property owner Swisscom. Toilets are closed too. What a disappointment for children not able to climb onto a viewing platform - dont take them with you, what a disappointment for photographers willing to make a pretty panorama photo - there is no possibility to make a good photo at the bottom of a tower because of trees - dont take a camera with you. Observation platform in the height of 37m above ground can be visited free of charge. Nice views to the surrounding nature including Lake Gruyere. Recommended also for families with bigger kids. Free access to public toilets as a small bonus, just do not expect them to be...
