グリンデルヴァルトから1000メートルほどゴンドラリフトで昇ったところにあるフィルストの高原から、さらに徒歩で100-200メートルほどの高さを40-50分かけて登ると、バッハアルプゼーという湖に着ける。この湖の隣にある高さ2757メートルの岩山がこのリーティ（またはロティホルン）だ。
