Nice hike. Not very demanding. Started from Gersau at 15:30, at 18:00 I was on the peak with 30 min break in between. The alpine part of the hike is not difficult, there are chains and it's a little steep, but if you're sure footed it's an easy climb. On the peak there is a small fireplace where i stopped and sit down on a ridge, not realizing there is a drop behind. Be mindful of that. The descent was through the ladder which is strong, secured and a little inclined(not horizontal), and it's easy to stay on it.

One of the most stunning views in all of Switzerland! However, it is only for experienced climbers and definitely not for those who suffer vertigo! Some parts of the climb are close to the edge and require holding onto a rope, especially on the descent. Good shoes are highly recommended! A challenging climb but the rewards are worth it!

2nd highest peak in the Rigi mountain range, accessible only by alpine trails (blue). Not suitable (!!) for inexperienced people, there have been accidents. Best accessed from the North starting at Gätterli and taking the ladder to reach the small plateau on top. Descent via chains and trail to SW then flat N and NE to get back to Gätterli. Eastern access from Urmiberg side is a little...
